About Me

What's up!Thanks for taking the time to check my work out!My name is Eric Cruz.I'm a New York City based cinematographer and editor with over 15 years of experience creating documentary, commercial, and branded content. My work is shaped by growing up biracial in The Bronx to an Okinawan and Puerto Rican family, years spent skateboarding with friends, and an appreciation for design & philosophy.Whether I'm filming on a busy city street or inside a serene studio, I'm drawn to honest moments, thoughtful compositions, and stories that leave a lasting impression. In my spare time I go to museums with my wife Carla, skateboard, play video games, watch documentaries, listen to Hip-Hop + Jazz and read books focused on culture & history.Peace!
